eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum and super excited to dive into all things eBike. I've been riding my Aventon Level 2 commuter for a few months now, mostly 15-20 mile round trips on paved trails and city streets, and I'm constantly amazed by how much fun it is. I'm really curious about the tech behind these bikes – specifically, what's the biggest leap in eBike motor or battery technology you've seen recently, or what's a piece of tech you wish more people understood?
