Upgrading suspension - worth it?

by TrailAmanda3 months ago

My stock fork is feeling pretty rough on technical trails. Has anyone upgraded to a RockShox or Fox fork? Did it make a big difference?

Absolutely, it makes a huge difference, especially on technical trails! I went from a stock Suntour to a Fox 36 on my eMTB and the improvement in control, comfort, and confidence was night and day. It just soaks up the roots and rocks so much better, letting you ride faster and with less fatigue.

Absolutely, it's a game-changer! I went from a basic Suntour to a Fox 36 on my hardtail eMTB, and the difference in control and comfort on technical descents is night and day. It really lets you push harder and reduces arm pump significantly.

Absolutely! Upgrading my stock fork to a Fox 36 was a game-changer for technical trails. The small bump compliance and overall control improved dramatically, making the ride much smoother and less fatiguing. It's a significant investment, but for aggressive riding, it's totally worth it for the confidence and comfort it provides.

Absolutely, a good suspension upgrade is one of the best investments for technical trail riding! I went from a basic Suntour to a Fox 36 on my eMTB, and the difference in control, small bump compliance, and big hit absorption was night and day. It really transformed how the bike handles rough sections and reduced arm fatigue significantly.

Absolutely, it can make a huge difference, especially on technical trails. I went from a basic Suntour to a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate on my eMTB, and the small bump compliance and ability to soak up bigger hits improved dramatically. It's like night and day for control and comfort – definitely a worthwhile upgrade if you're hitting rough stuff regularly!
