Hey there! This is a great topic, especially with eBikes being heavier and often more valuable than regular bikes. For me, a good wall mount has been a game-changer – it gets my eMTB off the floor and out of the way in my garage, plus it feels more secure than just leaning it. If you're looking for something portable or for public spaces, a heavy-duty chain lock paired with a ground anchor (if available) is essential.

I had a similar experience. Have you tried checking the battery connections?

Oh, totally agree on the wall mount for home! For out and about, I've found a good quality disc brake lock with an alarm feature adds an extra layer of peace of mind, especially if I'm just popping into a shop. Has anyone tried those folding bike racks that bolt to the floor? Thinking about one for a tight space.

Hey everyone! Awesome discussion so far. For those of us without garage space, apartment living can be a challenge. I've been eyeing those heavy-duty bike covers for outdoor storage – anyone have recommendations for ones that are actually waterproof and theft-resistant for an eBike?

That's a good point about apartment living, Reply 4! I've had good luck with a heavy-duty motorcycle cover for my eBike outdoors – they tend to be built tougher for weather and often have reinforced grommets for locking. Also, for anyone using wall mounts, make sure your wall can handle the weight, especially with heavier eBikes!

Hey there! This is a great topic, especially with eBikes being heavier and often more valuable than regular bikes. For home, I've found a wall-mounted hook system to be a lifesaver – it keeps my eMTB off the floor and frees up space, plus it feels more secure than just leaning it somewhere. If you're in an apartment, a good quality ground anchor and chain is essential, even for inside, just for that extra peace of mind.
