Aventon Level.2 - 6 month review

by EmilyThompson2 months ago

I've put 800 miles on my Level.2 commuting to work. Here's my honest review: Pros - smooth ride, great range, looks professional. Cons - heavy (62 lbs), no throttle on hills. Overall 8/10.

Looking for my first eBike, budget is $1000 max. I know that's tight but I've seen some options. What would you recommend for casual weekend rides?

Thanks for the 6-month update! It's great to hear the Level.2 is holding up well for your commute, especially with that impressive range. I've heard similar feedback about the throttle on hills with some cadence sensor bikes; sometimes a quick downshift and a bit more pedal assist can help, but it's definitely something to get used to compared to a torque sensor. Enjoy the next 800 miles!
