Safety tips for urban commuting

Hey there! Great topic, especially with those 8-mile city commutes on an eMTB – I can definitely relate to those "hairy intersections." My absolute must-have is a super bright front light (1000+ lumens, always on flashing during the day) and a couple of good rear lights, one on my seatpost and one on my helmet for better visibility from all angles. For tricky traffic, I always try to make eye contact with drivers, especially at intersections, and assume they haven't seen me until proven otherwise. Also, consider a rearview mirror – it's a game-changer for situational awareness!
